To see our details for tuition, please see this link. We primarily provide block summer tuition but in the run up to Independent school exams, we will provide practice tests at our dedicated centre and institution:
- Our exams are tailored to fit in with what Independent schools test children on. These are encompassing a variety of core parts of the syllabus;
- The areas of testing that Independent schools undertake is in English, Maths, Verbal & Non Verbal Reasoning. However, its not that straight forward;
- English is typically split into Comprehension (around 1 page text followed by about 10 questions. Time 30 minutes) and Creative Writing (30 minutes creative writing based on writing about a given sentence);
- Maths is split into some standard Operational Questions and then the balance of the paper is comprised of harder and longer multi part questions. (So typically around 60 minutes with 10 Operational and simple questions followed by 20 longer multi part or worded questions);
- Finally, some schools do decide to also test on Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning. This is covered off in the section to the right

The questions are NOT always tested by Independent Schools. If they are tested by Independent schools, then we would expect both Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning to be no more than a total of 30% of the Exam mark. This is an absolute maximum.
- Our approach is therefore to have a tailor made and purpose designed Independent School exam based on which school your child is due to sit exams for;
- We will take out Verbal and/or Non Verbal Reasoning if the area is not tested in the exams. This is something that is unique and no other testing centre provide such a personalised service. We will replace these questions with English and/or Maths questions;
- If Verbal and/or Verbal Reasoning are tested, we will provide a large variety of questions to give a wider exposure to your child for the types of questions that may be tested.
